Dunnes Stores is one of Ireland’s largest and leading retailer and we were pleased to be asked to create a new visual identity for their quarterly Beauty Event. The brief required designing a logo, product photography, brochures and POS solutions for in-store promotions. The identity also had to be flexible to change according to seasonal offers. We began with a Summer logo and later transferred the same elements into a logo design specifically for Christmas.

To begin with, we designed the logo lock up for the campaign. This was implemented across all media – both printed and digital. By choosing muted colour palettes, the promotional products on offer stood out on the pages of the brochure. Once we had a styleguide in place, we decided on how we could integrate the product photography through the brochures and organised a photoshoot.

With a versatile suite of colours and illustrations, the identity system is lively and fresh. In addition to creating an in-depth brand style guide, we worked hand in hand with Dunnes stores to create an engaging experience for all customers, both in-store and online.
